No worries. Hockey is a unique college sport....

It's wildly popular in many northern areas and ND just wants a regional conference to play in. I don't think there's any significant connection between ND's interest in hockey and their interest in a home for their other sports.

And for the record, (and many in the south would never realize this), there are still more D1 hockey teams than there are D1 lacrosse teams.
